# Proposed commercial licence and limited support scope

**Unissued draft for owner review.** Fill in the licensor’s real identity, operator, event date/site, agreed price and accepted terms before offering a paid licence. This document does not record a contract, payment or purchased usage rights.

## Material and provenance

The supplied story, puzzle instances, numerical tables, hints, solutions, software and simple vector artwork were composed for this project. No competitor puzzle, purchased commercial game, stock image, music, actor performance or external dataset is incorporated. The package uses no third-party runtime library; fonts use the recipient’s system stack. Do not represent this as a trademark search or a guarantee of copyright exclusivity in generic puzzle mechanisms. Project owner controls any commercial issue of this pack.

## Proposed single-event operator permission

- One identified operator, one agreed event date and site, one concurrent session, up to 30 adults, using this one theme. The operator supplies facilitation and a suitable room. The draft does not require the content creator to be present.
- Allow that operator to run the agreed activity as part of its paid event, display the player interface, print the necessary player/host materials, and retain one private backup and event record.
- Allow the supplied promotion artwork and factual theme description to advertise that licensed event. Additional editing, a different theme, resale of the digital files, publishing the answer key, sublicensing another operator, or a multi-date/annual licence requires separately agreed scope.
- Participants receive activity materials for that event; the operator should distribute only the matching player packet. The code contains no DRM, activation key or automatic event-count enforcement. Contractual permission would be separate from software capability.

The proposed test price is USD 79 for this single-event scope. It remains an unissued quote, not evidence of a sale or demonstrated willingness to pay. State the currency, tax treatment, date and final accepted price in the actual order.

## Proposed annual venue permission

The alternative test price is USD 399 for 12 months starting on the date written in the order, for one named operator at one named venue. It covers repeated events using this one supplied theme, one concurrent session and no more than 30 adults per session. It includes the same private display, necessary printing, backup and factual promotion permissions as the single-event licence. The operator provides the room and facilitator. Other venues, simultaneous sessions, sublicensing, publishing answers, resale of source files, bespoke branding and additional themes require a separately agreed scope.

The annual term does not renew automatically. The operator stops running new events after expiry unless a new term is agreed; it may retain a private archive for its records. The package has no account system, usage meter or licence enforcement. An annual permission does not promise new themes, new releases or unlimited support. It includes one onboarding question batch, one consolidated correction round for reproducible defects reported in the first 30 days, and later reports of defects in the unchanged supplied version during the licence term, with a proposed response target of five business days. Confirm available support capacity before accepting that target. New requirements and operator modifications are quoted separately.

An annual licence must identify its start/end dates, venue, operator, accepted package version, payment and cancellation terms. If an essential included feature cannot be supplied or repaired, agree the remedy for the unused, undelivered portion in the order. Neither price is a live checkout or a claim that a licence has been issued.

## Proposed finite support

One written preflight question batch before the agreed event; one consolidated issue report after delivery; correction of reproducible defects in the supplied version during an agreed support window. Define that window and a realistic response target in the actual order. No live event hosting, guaranteed same-day reply, unlimited rehearsal support, remote device control, custom branding, new puzzles or future versions is automatically included.

A defect means that an included rule, answer, export or control fails the accepted specification. A preference for another story, difficulty or layout is a change request. Keep the printable fallback available. If an essential defect prevents the agreed event and cannot be fixed in time, the actual agreement should state the corresponding remedy for the undelivered licence; do not substitute an unconditional “no refunds” slogan. Mandatory rights, applicable taxes and transaction terms need to be addressed when a real selling arrangement exists.

## Beta and acceptance boundaries

Do not label the current package “human-tested”, “proven for 30 people”, “15-minute setup guaranteed” or “45 minutes guaranteed”. Before a paid live release, obtain independent-host and target-capacity participant evidence, choose any accessibility adjustments, and document the final version. Owner approval of content is not proof that a group has played it.
